1.Brief Profile

Heng YAO received the B.S. degree from Hefei University of Technology, China, in 2004, the M.S. degree from Shanghai Normal University, China, in 2008, and the Ph.D. degree from Shanghai University, China, in 2012. Since Dec. 2012, he has been with the School of Optical-Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Shanghai for Science and Technology，where he is currently an Associate Professor. He has headed a National Natural Science Foundation program and contributed more than 30 SCI-indexed journal papers, including IEEE signal processing letters, Signal processing, Journal of visual communication and image representation, and IET image processing.

His research interests include multimedia security, image processing, and pattern recognition.
