Welcome to the School of Optical-Electrical and Computer Engineering (OECE) at University of Shanghai for Science and Technology (USST)! We have more than 280 faculty and staff members, 3000 undergraduate students, as well as 1580 Master/Ph.D. students. Over the past decade, the school of OECE has been substantially expanded by attracting not only leading senior scholars who have been renowned in their respective fields, but also young researchers who have shown great academic potential. Thanks to the collective effort of excellent faculty and students, the School of OECE has recently made remarkable achievements in student cultivation, fundamental research, high-tech development and technology transformation. In the coming years, the School will further promote the cultivation of innovative talents, accelerate the pace of discipline construction, improve the ability of independent scientific and technological innovation, and strive to build a world-class platform with outstanding teach and cutting-edge research.
