1.Brief Profile

Li DING, Associate Professor, School of Optical-Electrical and Computer Engineering

Dr. DING Li is currently in the School of Optical-Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Shanghai for Science and Technology (USST). She received her Bachelor and Master degrees from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in 2008 and 2011, respectively. She received her Ph. D degree from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2014.

Her primary research is focused on MMW/THz imaging and image processing. Comprehensive theoretical simulations, novel experimental processes and implementation of imaging/image technology are being carried out to investigate in detail how MMW/THz imagers can see well the concealed objects. Research activities include high-resolution imaging technology to improve the performance of original images and the image processing to enhance the image quality and to recognize and classify the objects from those 3-D images.

So far, her researches have been supported by the National key R&D Program of China (2018YFF01013003), the National Natural Science Foundation of China (61731020, 61605113), and the Natural Science Foundation of Shanghai (16ZR1423100).
