Recently, the National Natural Science Foundation of China announced the results of the review of the National Natural Science Foundation of China during the 2022 centralized application period. The School of Optoelectronics has been approved to fund 17 projects, including 11 general projects, 6 youth funds, and a project funding of 7.78 million yuan. The number of projects established is the highest in the past five years, a record high, a year-on-year increase of 55%.

The leaders of the college attach great importance to the application of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, carefully organize and widely launch, and conduct a thorough survey of the whole hospital before the declaration, focusing on it. In early March, experts were invited to conduct two rounds of preliminary evaluation of the college's application materials, held concentrated discussions on common issues, and focused on guidance in the form of expert interviews, which greatly improved the quality of project applications.

The approved projects will play a positive role in improving the academic level of scientific research of the college, strengthening the discipline construction of the college, and improving the quality of talent training, and the basic research ability and independent innovation ability will also be continuously improved, which will provide strong support for the construction of first-class disciplines. The college will also continue to improve the system construction, strengthen policy guidance, coordinate the resources of all parties, and create favorable conditions for scientific researchers of our institute to apply for various projects or awards at all levels.
