The National Optical Instrument Quality Supervision and Inspection Center is a state-level and non-profit Product Quality Supervision & Supervision Institute accredited by the country and authorized by the National Regulatory Commission. Established in 1990, the center was authorized establishing Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center for Mechanical Optical Instrument and No.14 Measurement and Testing Center by the former Ministry of Machinery Industry. In 2006, China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) recognized the establishment of USST Optical Engineering Testing Technology Laboratory.
The center, supported by the school of optoelectronic Engineering and Computer Science of USST, is the affiliated office of China Instrument Manufacture Association, The Secretariat of Optics and Photonics Standardization Technical Committee, The Secretariat of Engineering Optics Committee of Chinese Optical Society, The Secretariat of Optical Instruments Federation of China Instrument and Control Society, the branch secretariat of China Instrument Manufacturers Association and Control Society.
The center boasts a complete laboratory management system, advanced equipment and strong testing capabilities, mainly responsible for the supervision / commission / arbitration inspection of optical product quality, metrological verification of optical instruments, new product identification, and national and industry standards. Research and development of revision and testing techniques and equipment. The center's business covers performance testing and parameter calibration of various optical instruments, testing and evaluation of optical components, and environmental simulation tests of optical components and instruments. It can provide customers with various testing solutions and technical support services.
