Pingan MU was born in 1964，graduated from East China University of Technology in March 1995 with a master's degree in automation instrumentation. From July 1984 to now, he is engaged in the teaching and scientific research in the fields of Instrument Science and technology, signal and information processing, and electronic information engineering in the Department of Precision Instruments of Shanghai Institute of Machinery, the Institute of instrumentation of East China University of Technology and the School of Optical-Electronical and Computer Engineering of University of Shanghai for Science and Technology. He has been awarded the third prize for the progress of science and technology in China's machinery industry，the third prize for the progress of science and technology in the Ministry of Machinery and Electronics Industry，the first prize for the progress of science and technology in the Department of Education of the Ministry of Machinery Industry.
