1.Brief Profile

Yan SONG received the B.Sc. degree in materials science and engineering from Jilin University, Changchun, China, in 2001, the M.Sc. degree in applied mathematics from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, China, in 2005, and the Ph.D. degree in control theory and control engineering in Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China, in 2013.

She is currently an associate professor and the vice director with the Department of Control Science and Engineering, University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, Shanghai, China. From Dec. 2016 to Dec. 2017, she was a visiting scholar with the Department of Computer Science, Brunel University London, Uxbridge, UK.

She has published over 50 papers in refereed international journals. She has hosted 6 national/provincial projects, and has been authorized 1 invention patent. She is a very active reviewer for many international journals. She has been honored as outstanding reviewer of “The Institute of Engineering and Technology” (2019) and “Journal of the Franklin Institute” (2016).

Her research interests include model predictive control, machine learning and data analysis.
