1.Brief Profile

Associate Professor Jian LIN received his doctorate degree from the Department of Biological Engineering in the National University of Singapore (2008-2012), and continued his postdoctoral research at the same laboratory (2012-2016). He joined the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology as distinguished associate professor in 2016. He won the title of Shanghai Young Oriental Scholar and was selected into Shanghai Pujiang Program.

2. Research Area

His research work includes non-linear optical imaging (Coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering, stimulated Raman scattering, second- and third-harmonic generation, two-photon fluorescence), Raman spectroscopy and imaging and their biomedical applications. He has published more than 20 papers in peer-reviewed journals, including Nano Letters, Scientific Reports, Optics Letters, Applied Physics Letters, Optics Express, Journal of Biomedical Optics. He is the principle investigator of a general project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (2019-2022). He joined Centre for Artificial-Intelligence Nanophotonics in 2019.
